How to Prepare for the Mint
Step 1: Ensure Whitelist Eligibility
To participate in the mint, you must ensure that you are whitelisted on the Moongate platform before the snapshot date. The wallet you plan to use for the mint should be connected to your Moongate account no later than October 14, 2024, to secure your eligibility. Here’s how you can get whitelisted:
- Head over to Moon Odyssey and earn 50,000+ points
- Ensure that you’ve completed all onboarding tasks
- Once you’ve done so, click the “Get Whitelisted” button
- If you’ve successfully been whitelisted you will see the message “🎉 Whitelisted”
Step 2: Connect Your Wallet to Moongate
Your wallet must be connected to your Moongate account before the snapshot date. Here’s how you can do that:
- Linking an External Wallet (e.g., MetaMask, OKX): If you plan to mint with an external wallet you can connect your wallet to your Moongate account by clicking your profile on the top right hand side of the dashboard and then clicking “Add Wallet”.
- Using a Particle (Non-Custodial) Wallet: If you’re using your Moongate issued Particle wallet, make sure it’s funded for gas fees.
Note: The Moongate Voyager Pass collection will be minted on the Base chain. Please make sure that you have enough ETH (on Base) in your designated wallet to cover mint fees + gas.
Step 3: Set Up a Default Wallet (For Users with Multiple Wallets)
If you have multiple wallets linked to your Moongate account, you will need to set up a default wallet, and this wallet must be an EVM-compatible wallet (e.g., MetaMask, OKX). This step is crucial for ensuring your wallet is successfully whitelisted for the mint before the snapshot date.
- Click your profile on the top right of the screen
- Click “Set Default Wallet”
- Select the wallet you want to be whitelisted from the dropdown menu and confirm
Step 4: Minting on OKX Launchpad
When the mint goes live, you’ll be able to mint your Moongate Voyager Pass directly on the OKX Launchpad platform. Ensure that you log in using your whitelisted (default) wallet. For users using their Particle wallets you can log in via WalletConnect on the OKX site.
